It will save you the large expense of color separations as well as numerous film charges.

Digital ink jet transfers are normally much softer than a normal plastic screen printing ink.,The water based ink will actually sink in to the cotton of the t-shirt and becomes part of it. A typical plastic screen printing ink will sit on top of the tee shirt, thus resulting in a very soft feel to the touch.
An ink jet application is every bit as durable as any screen printing application. In fact it will usually out last your every day plastic ink. Plastic in will tend to crack eventually where a water base tee shirt will not.
